Brazilian customers are committed to the recycling of industrial waste. In their daily production, they need to handle a large number of tough materials such as ton bags and plastic packaging. Due to the high energy consumption and uneven discharge of traditional equipment, the customer proposed to customize a set of efficient and low-maintenance single-shaft shredders, requiring the rapid shredding of ton bags and precise control of the discharge size to facilitate subsequent granulation or recycling.
Solution
Based on customer needs, our technical team designed a hydraulically driven single-shaft shredder. The core configuration includes:
1. High-strength tool system: SKD-11 alloy steel moving knife and fixed knife combination, the knives are arranged in a "V" shape, combined with a hydraulic boost system, which can easily shred large bundles of ton bags, thick-walled plastics and other materials. The moving knife supports 4 blade rotations, which significantly extends its service life.
2. Intelligent control system: equipped with PLC program to automatically control forward and reverse rotation and overload protection, reducing the need for manual intervention; the screen module supports 10-50mm discharge size customization to meet the needs of different recycling processes.
3. Low energy consumption design: The power system structure is optimized, and the main shaft is driven by a gear reducer. The operating noise is 20% lower than the industry standard, and the torque is increased by 30%, ensuring a balance between high output and low energy consumption.
Trial results
During the pre-delivery trial, the equipment successfully processed the test material of a full load of ton bags:
- Efficient crushing: The hydraulic pusher system sends the whole bag of ton bags into the shredding chamber at a uniform speed, and the single hob group quickly decomposes the material into uniform fragments through shearing, extrusion and tearing.
Stable operation: The equipment has no jamming and abnormal vibration throughout the whole process. The PLC system automatically monitors the load and adjusts the speed to ensure continuous production stability.
Customer evaluation
After the trial, the customer said: "The intelligence of this single-axis shredder is far beyond expectations. The ton bag processing efficiency is nearly 3 times higher than the original equipment, and the maintenance cost is significantly reduced. Its modular design also leaves room for our future production line upgrades."
