Faced with the growing demand for processing waste motor rotors (containing high-value metals such as iron, copper, and aluminum), European customers are in urgent need of an efficient, automated solution that complies with EU environmental standards.
We designed and delivered a set of integrated waste rotor crushing and sorting system for it. The core configuration includes:
1. 2 heavy-duty crushers: heavy hammer crushing is used to ensure that the rotor is completely dissociated into a uniform mixture, improving the efficiency of subsequent sorting.
2. Double sets of multi-layer magnetic separators: multi-gradient magnetic field design, accurate separation of ferromagnetic materials (recovery rate> 99.9%), suitable for materials of different particle sizes.
3. Eddy current separator: eddy current separator is used to efficiently separate non-ferrous metals (copper and aluminum), ensuring that the purity of copper and aluminum reaches more than 99% respectively, solving the problem of light metal mixing.
4. Dust removal system: The whole process is closed crushing and sorting process, with dust removal system filtration, and the dust collection efficiency is> 99.5%.
Results and Value
Efficiency Leap: The system processing capacity reaches 8-10 tons/hour, which is 300% higher than the customer's original capacity, and the annual processing capacity is expected to exceed 50,000 tons.
High-value resources: The comprehensive recovery rate of iron, copper and aluminum exceeds 99%, and the metal purity meets the requirements of direct smelting.
Green compliance: The full closed design + dust collection system achieves nearly zero emissions, helping customers pass the EU WEEE directive certification. No wastewater is generated during the crushing and sorting process.
Low operation and maintenance costs:
The dust removal system automatically cleans the dust, and the filter bag life is extended to 18 months;
The whole system is automatically controlled, reducing 70% of manual intervention.
