(Zhengzhou, China, May 7, 2025) Today, Henan Kaidi Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully completed the pre-delivery test and acceptance of the intelligent scrap metal crushing and sorting system customized and developed for German customers. The equipment has won high praise from German customers with its full-process automated sorting technology, a metal recovery rate of up to 99.5%, and a green and low-carbon design, marking that China's high-end environmental protection equipment has once again been recognized by international industrial powers.
The video of the test site shows that after the scrap metal raw materials are crushed into uniform particles by a heavy hammer crusher, the high-precision magnetic separator first uses a super-strong magnetic field to quickly adsorb iron metal, and the remaining materials are accurately separated by an eddy current separator to sort out non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum. Among them, the purity of iron metal is increased to more than 99% after secondary crushing, and can be directly used for high-end smelting; the copper and aluminum sorting link uses intelligent sensing technology to adjust parameters in real time to achieve "zero cross contamination" of copper wire and aluminum materials, and the purity breaks through the industry bottleneck.
Technical highlights directly hit the dual goals of environmental protection and efficiency
Green and low-carbon: The whole machine is equipped with an energy feedback system, which reduces energy consumption by 30% compared with traditional equipment, and dust emissions meet EU standards;
Intelligent operation and maintenance: AI algorithms dynamically optimize sorting efficiency, and remote diagnosis systems warn of faults in real time to ensure worry-free operation and maintenance for overseas customers;
Economic value: The single-line processing capacity exceeds 5 tons/hour, and the annual recovery of metal resources is equivalent to reducing the demand for 100,000 tons of raw ore mining.
During the acceptance process, the German customer said: "This system perfectly solves our previous pain points of incomplete copper and iron separation and residual aluminum impurities. Its modular design can be flexibly adapted to recycling production lines in many European countries. We look forward to it becoming the core equipment of our circular economy strategy."
