On May 21, 2025, the fully automatic scrap aluminum crushing and separation production line introduced by a Malaysian customer was officially put into production. Its core equipment uses intelligent crushing and precise sorting technology to achieve efficient separation of scrap aluminum and iron impurities. The on-site video shows the complete process of scrap aluminum from crushing to sorting, highlighting the industrialized and efficient solution for resource recycling.
Process Highlights
1. Intelligent conveying and crushing
The scrap aluminum raw materials are sent to the metal crusher through a conveyor, and the materials are crushed and knocked by a high-speed rotating hammer to crush the large pieces of scrap aluminum into uniform fragments.
2. Sorting system
Magnetic sorting: The crushed mixture enters the magnetic separator, and the strong magnetic field is used to adsorb ferromagnetic materials. The separated scrap iron is collected through an independent conveyor belt with a purity of up to 99%.
3. Environmental protection and economic benefits
The production line adopts a PLC intelligent control system to achieve fully automated operation and reduce labor costs. It is estimated that every ton of scrap aluminum recycled can reduce smelting energy consumption by 47%, while avoiding environmental pollution caused by landfilling of scrap metal.
On-site real-time data
Processing capacity: The average daily processing capacity of a single line is 20 tons, which is suitable for complex materials such as waste aluminum profiles, cans, and auto parts.
Sorting efficiency: The direct recovery rate of metal aluminum exceeds 95%, the comprehensive recovery rate exceeds 98%, and the impurity removal rate exceeds 90%.
